Early Thoroughbreds Map

This detailed map was researched, designed and written by Jane Cook. It is printed on heavy white paper stock measuring approximately 17 1/2" x 24 1/4;" it is in poster format, and not folded as previous maps have been presented. It includes details on the locations of the farms where important early thoroughbreds, since the reign of James I, were bred, stood at stud, and/or were trained. Keyed items provide additional information on the sites, the horses, the jockeys and owners. Also includes a booklet with an alphabetic index and key to horses noted on the map. Published 2005.
