Miss Budweiser

American-bred Miss Budweiser (also shown as Circus Rose) helped the U.S. show jumping team gain the Bronze Medal at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. Registered as a daughter of Great War, a son of Man O' War, some claim she was actually a daughter of Bonne Nuit (Byerley Turk sire line), a noted sire of international jumpers. Her dam was Winter Rose, a field hunter who also produced the Olympic medal horse Riviera Wonder, the jumper-producing mare Snow Bloom, the steeplechaser Perennial, and champion jumper and Pan-Am gold medal winner Unusual. Grandam, Rose Dunstan, won over hurdles.
