Le Radar

One of the top steeplechasers in France in the late '40s and early '50s, Le Radar competed as an entire horse, winning the Grand Premio Merano in 1950 at age 4. His sire, Fastnet, could go 14 furlongs, winning races in France, among them the Prix Greffulhe, and in India, where he won several top races before returning to stud in France. Fastnet is tail-male ancestor of other top steeplechasers, including brothers The Fellow and Al Capone II, and Gran Premio Merano winner Red Chief.
