| German-bred Der Lowe, son of German St. Leger winner Wahnfried, was a stakes winner who, at age 7, was installed as a sire at the Hanoverian stallion station at Grossenworden. During his twenty year career at stud he got a number of top Hanoverian dressage horses, some international grand prix jumpers, including Der Lord and Loriot, and two significant sire sons, Lugano I and Lugano II. |
