| American-bred Cafe Prince jumped for nine years, winning most U.S. top steeplechase races, including the American Grand National in 1978 and the Colonial Cup twice. In all he won 18 of his 52 races, earning two Eclipse Awards during the coures of his long career. Grandsire Olympia, a stakes-winning speedy horse up to a mile, and a leading broodmare sire, also got the 1973 American Grand National winner, Top Bid. |
